Alda Hubbard. I have been involved with the Arts as an Art teacher and a potter over a long career. With Latvian heritage, creativity is always high on the agenda to express ideas. Living in the Otways and enjoying the Surf Coast Surf images there is never a shortage for inspiration. The last decade has seen an explosion of large works on canvas depicting, figures, abstracts, as well as everything reflecting the environment .Travel and camping trips into the wilds of Australia and overseas a re also great inspiration. Mixed media, textures and colour abound. Work is permanently on show at Coastal Balance 2 Haystacks Drive Torquay, Gellibrand Gallery and Gellibrand Pottery &Painting Studio 445 Old beech Forest Rd Gellibrand.
