Jay Hickey

Jay Hickey (@jayhickeyart on Instagram) is an Indigenous man from Gulidjan country making a twist on contemporary/neo-expressionism art. 'My art is part abstract contemporary, part therapy session. I've always used bold lettering and statements on everything I've done as it’s my favourite way of getting a point across in my work. There definitely isn't much subtlety to my artistic approach. All works shown here will be a version of Aerosol, Acrylic and oil pastel on canvas.'
