Scooters, bikes and tricycles
Flax Leaves
Colac’s Botanic Gardens was two blocks from home, and with a family of three boys it was where they played growing up.
On tricycles, on scooters and bikes, and wherever they played in the gardens they discarded their bikes and scooters in a heap, to be collected later as they headed home.
This playful abstract piece is an interpretation of the gardens as a place of fun and freedom.
