My art treasure was initially inspired by the idea of enjoying Colac’s Botanic Gardens as a
perfect place a picnic. But the work playfully veers into Alice in Wonderland territory with
the unlikely and fantastic combination of a giant tea pot made from flax leaves.
Jo Wade is a textile and mixed media artist. Her work combines textiles, inks, dyes, and
stitch to tell stories.
Or, to simply experiment with different creative combinations and ideas to create work.
