Bernie Daly

​Bernadette Daly is a mixed media artist. Living locally, she has a particular interest in the
natural decay of materials and looking after the environment, her art practice whether it
be photography or working with textiles and found materials explores and reflects this.
‘Clothing has clearly become disposable resulting in the generation of more and more
textile waste that is having a disastrous impact on the environment. Making a conscious
connection in our clothing choices will bring solutions and alternatives to mitigate these
problems. The first step lies in a willingness to change.’
