Gillian Brew

After a career in graphic design, sitting staring at a screen for more of my life than I care to

admit, working with the treasures nature provides gives me great joy.
Picking up an interesting leaf or a gum nut and imagining the potential fills me with
excitement. I challenge myself to reuse materials and seek out nature-friendly ways to
produce the little creatures I imagine. As a member of Studio Forrest Art Group, we are
privileged to be surrounded by the abundance and inspiration of the temperate rainforest
of the Otways and in a small way, by treading lightly, I try to honour this natural cathedral
I call home and showcase its beauty.
