LEAVES FALLING

Materials – Handmade paper in the shape of leaves using ink and gold leaf. Thread and
stainless steel tube.
All through summer the gum trees shed unwanted leaves to conserve energy in a time
that usually has little rain. When the wind blows, these leave fall to the ground in a mad
rush to reach the ground.
About me.
I live on a bush block, surrounded by gums and other native trees, in the foothills of the
Otways. I am primarily a glass artist, but love playing with other medium and exploring
what I can do with it. I am regularly inspired by the bush around me.
