In my early years of painting I was highly influenced by the Australian impressionist. As my work developed abstract expressionism became a primary focus and narrative sculpture was appearing more.
The western district and its connection to the southwest coast has long been my inspiration.
Now my work has returned to that impressionist influence, but with more balance between the abstract and the real.
