Small Art Treasures (SAT) in the Gardens is an annual outdoor small sculpture
exhibition taking place amongst the pathways and hidden spaces within the beautiful
Colac Botanic Gardens
It is back in 2024
9 th -24 th November
Over 35 artists and makers will be involved from the Colac Otway Region and from
further afield. Each will handcraft an ‘Art Treasure’ in response to the garden and
instal it somewhere for the visitor to stumble upon.
Seek out all of the ‘Art Treasures’, a bit like a treasure hunt however instead of taking
the treasure spend a little time immersing yourself in the joy of finding something
unexpected, read about the maker and the work if you like or just sit and ponder for a
while.
Thanks to the wonderful staff at Colac Botanic Gardens for their support and great
enthusiasm, thanks to ACCIONA for a small grant, thanks to Creative Otways and to
all the amazing artists and makers participating in 2024
